The Warriors' depth took a massive hit Thursday, with the announcement that free agent addition De'Anthony Melton would miss the remainder of the 2024-25 NBA season.

In what is his seventh NBA season, Melton joined the Warriors after stints in Memphis and Philadelphia, providing defense and spacing for the squad.

He signed a one-year, US$12.8 million deal during the off-season, with the hope of joining the latest in a long line of Steph Curry-led championship teams.
